Hi hi~!
It’s Shiani again with a blog post about the UBC Anime Club Valentine’s Cosplay Social and Dance that was held on February 9, 2013! (≧∇≦)/
Everyone had lots of fun~ 1000% FUN! We started off the event with snacking and mingling. A lot of cosplayers were arriving around this time. Some of the snacks included: Hershey kisses, cinnamon hearts, a fruit platter and candy hearts. ♥ How sweet >w<!
After the snacking and mingling, we had our Cosplay Contest. There were many talented cosplayers who were very enthusiastic! ＼（＠￣∇￣＠）／
The Audience’s Choice Winner was the one and only Bane from the movie “The Dark Knight Rises”. He was very scary! ━Σ(ﾟДﾟ|||)━ But at the same time, very hard to understand since he couldn’t speak clearly. ^^;
The Judges’ Choice Winner was a very cute cat cosplayer! (´ω｀★)
After our Cosplay Contest we had our King’s Game. A lot of people went into groups of about 7-9 to play. (◕‿◕✿) In the game, one person receives a piece of paper and becomes the King and other members of the group received a number. The King would give a command to a number without knowing who it is. One funny command given by a King in one group had Bane propose to someone. He ended up proposing to Zuko from Avatar the Last Airbender. XD Another funny command that a King made in another group was to have the group dance to Gangnam Style. It seemed like everyone had lots of fun and enjoyed the game very much. ＼(^▽^＠)ノ
For the final two hours of the event, it was dance time! “ヽ(´▽｀)ノ” The DJ played a variety of anime, Vocaloid and other popular music for dancing~!
It was also an opportunity to take photos of cosplayers! There was a group of cosplayers from Katekyo Hitman Reborn! Don’t they look cool >w<?
There was also a Project Diva Acute Vocaloid group! They looked so awesome! o((*^▽^*))o
