Shiani here! Today, I’ll be writing about our wonderful experiences at last weekend’s “UBC Cosplay Cafe”, presented with help from our friends at Vancouver CosCafe!
The UBC Cosplay Cafe was held with help from the Vancouver Cosplay Cafe, often dubbed as ‘Vancouver CosCafe’. They’re a non-profit organization that works on creating an unforgettable experience for con-goers across the Lower Mainland. You might have seen them at Anime Evolution, Cos & Effect and Anime Evolution: Akimatsuri!

The day was filled with performances throughout, featuring the talented dancers of CosCafe, as well as vocalists Goodnight Lumi and Rulaxie. Instrumentalist duo Ishido and Nanoneko also graced the stage, as well as the local acoustic duo, Ryouko. Every performance was mind-blowingly beautiful~! * w *
And of course, what would a cosplay cafe be without… cosplayers and food? O w O
Along with the usual tiramisu and tuxedo cakes and other little desserts like cream puffs, we also had tea and coffee served by the lovely maids and butlers of the Cosplay Cafe~! <3
And for the more daring and adventurous, we had special “Tsundere” and “Imouto” combos that served up a bit of attitude or adorableness with your food and drink from our lovely maids~! And man, did they bring the attitude and adorableness! >w<
To those who braved the treacherous weather to come spend some quality time with us, THANK YOU SO MUCH~!! TT wTT <3 The executive team and I love you all so dearly~! The event wouldn’t have been the same without you! <3
