Thank you for all of our members who voted in last week’s executive elections! The executive team for the 2013/14 year will be:

We will start off with the second half of our Drawing and CG panel before dinner break. Once everyone has returned at 7:15, we will begin the executive elections. It is very important that, as a member, you show up to vote! Only registered UBC Anime Club members and current UBC students may vote; your choices on Friday will shape the future of the club!
Once the voting has concluded, we will be following up on our three series: Psycho- Pass, Tamako Market and Maoyuu Maou Yuusha.

This week’s activity is the member favourite: Karaoke Night. As usual, the karaoke will be held in room 201 of the Buchanan A building! I know all of you love singing, so I’ll see you on Friday!

The activity for this week is a completely new (and highly requested) one: Games Night! Move over PS3 and Wii, this night is all about board and card games! However, some of them have received an anime makeover: Monopoly: Johto Adventures, Clue: Anime Murder, Guess Who: Anime Characters, Mahjong, and Anime-style pictionary! There will also be decks of cards, and several members are planning on bringing their various own games (see the Facebook group for more details).

Because the university is closed this week, we will not have a showing this Friday, but that doesn’t mean we aren’t getting together! Join us as we hold a group outing for skating and dinner on Saturday!
